Participants of the Festival of three countries "I love you, Russia" awarded in Bethlehem

October 11, 2020, the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Bethlehem provided a meeting of the Bethlehem branch of the Society of Russian Compatriots, in the course of which the participants of the Festival of Three Countries "I love you, Russia", organized by the Coordination Councils of Organizations of Russian Compatriots of Lebanon, Palestine and Syria, were awarded.

In total, the festival involved 509 people, 120 of whom are Russian compatriots from different cities of Palestine. Various contests, 14 in total, allowed everyone to show their talents in cooking, music and drawing, as well as to show knowledge of Russian culture, history and traditions.

Unfortunately, due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the country, it was not possible to gather all the participants at the same time, so it was decided to transfer the awards to the chairmen of the local branches of the Society of Russian Compatriots for local awards.

An important resource for the study of Russian culture in Bethlehem is the electronic collections of the Presidential Library: since 2012, a remote electronic reading room has been opened at the RCSC in Bethlehem.
