
A conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese-Russian relations in the field of science and education held in Hanoi
October 19, 2020, the International Online Conference "70th Anniversary of Vietnamese-Russian Relations in Science and Education" with the participation of leading Russian scholars, Vietnamese, scientists and researchers in the field of science and education from Russia and Vietnam was launched at Hanoi State University.
The event has been organized by the branch of the Vietnamese-Russian Friendship Society and the International Institute of Hanoi State University.
The event is timed to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the 65th anniversary of the beginning of teaching the Russian language at Hanoi State University and the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the cabinet of the Russkiy Mir Foundation at the International Institute of Hanoi State University.
Since 2018 a remote electronic reading room of the Presidential Library has been opened at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Hanoi. Visitors to the RCSC get full access to the materials of the electronic collections of the Presidential Library and get familiar with documents, medieval manuscript books, printed publications, photographs, maps, modern scientific research on the history, theory and practice of Russian statehood. Of particular interest are the publications presented in the collection "Russia - Vietnam: the History of Relationships" devoted to the history of the Vietnamese people and their struggle for independence, the works of Russian and Vietnamese researchers, revealing the peculiarities of the internal and external economic development of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, as well as documents covering individual aspects of Russian-Vietnamese cooperation.
