Famous French scientist recalled Bunin on the day of his 150th birthday

The Russian Center of Science and Culture in Paris took part in the jubilee celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of one of the greatest Russian writers Ivan Alekseevich Bunin.

The Presidential Library’s portal provides a number of materials about the life and career of Ivan Bunin. For example, the study "The poetics of the diary prose of Ivan Bunin" makes it possible to draw conclusions about the importance of the diary entries for the writer's work. The author of the work notes that in emigration Ivan Alekseevich continued to write only in Russian. The electronic collections of the library present the catalog-album “Ivan Bunin in Print (1897–2011)”, which is a description of the books of Bunin and research about him, kept in the writer's homeland in Voronezh.
