The winners of the "My Chekhov" contest awarded in Osh

The drawing contest "My Chekhov", which was held within the framework of the "Writers of Russia" project and dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of the classic of world literature, has come to an end in Kyrgyzstan, in the city of Osh.

Schoolchildren of primary and middle age from 8 to 12 years old took part in the contest. The pupils sent in works based on the works of the playwright and prose writer.

All participants were awarded with diplomas and mementos from the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Kyrgyz Republic and the Integration Foundation.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the materials of the electronic collection Anton Chekhov (1860-1904) dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the classic. It includes digital copies of books, periodicals and archival documents that reveal various facets of Chekhov's personality, his life and oeuvre; presents postcards and photographs with images of the writer, materials dedicated to preserving the memory of him, as well as the texts of his individual works of art, articles and letters.

Only a part of the materials from the electronic repository is presented in the public domain on the Presidential Library's portal. The information resources of the library in full are available at the remote access centers opened in different countries of the world.
