Information and educational campaign launched in the Tambov Regional Center of the Presidential Library

December 8, 2020 the Tambov Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted an information and educational campaign "Electronic resources in the school education system: textbooks from Peter I to the present day".

The event was attended by students of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism of the Derzhavin Tambov State University, who learned about the possibilities of the electronic reading room, the portal of the Presidential Library, the information and educational project "Gosudarika" and studied in detail the basic collection "Russian language".

The students were introduced to the basic principles of the library's activity. They learned what materials are digitized, what principle еру  are selected, the way the collections are formed, and that using an electronic reading room helps users develop information literacy, navigate the network information space, and find the most valuable sources among the limitless set of sources.

The guests of the Tambov Regional Center of the Presidential Library consolidated the acquired knowledge by passing the web quest “Book and Youth: XXI Century”. To complete the tasks, it was necessary to deal with electronic collections of the Presidential Library.

The Presidential Library's portal features the materials of the electronic collections "Integrated Digital Environment of Knowledge of Russia", "Textbooks on Russian language", "History Textbooks", "History of Education in Russia", which are of interest to various categories of users.
