Online meeting for teachers and librarians held in Yekaterinburg

Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library holds the meeting "Significant Dates in 2021".

Users have opportunity to find out what significant dates, holidays and anniversaries will be celebrated in 2021, materials from which electronic collections of the Presidential Library will be useful in preparing thematic events.

Particular attention was paid to the section On This Day and the collection Persons of Russia. Thanks to these collections, one can quickly prepare an up-to-date post for social networks, create a calendar of memorable dates for every day or give an interactive training session.

The meeting is addressed primarily to librarians and educators who are active in cultural and educational activities.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the current collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History, which contains statistical materials, studies, essays and photographs of the 19th - early 20th centuries and introduces the geographical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects of the history of the region.
