The Volgograd Regional Center of the Presidential Library hosted a foresight session "Librarian of the Future"

February 25-26, 2021 the Gorky Volgograd Regional Universal Scientific Library took part in the foresight session "Librarian of the Future", initiated by the Russian State Library, the Molchanov-Sibirskiy Irkutsk Regional State Universal Scientific Library, the National Research University Higher School of Economics and the Atlas of New Professions project. The event was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

At the launch of the foresight session, expert speeches were made by the professor of practice of the Moscow School of Management "Skolkovo", expert of the Skolkovo Center for Education Development Pavel Luksha, project leader of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to create professional communities in science, high-tech industries and education, head of the working group Planning and Motivation of the National System of Competencies and Qualifications Oleg Grinko, head of the Atlas of New Professions project, member of the Expert Council of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, international consultant in the field of forecasting the need for workforce, member of the International Research and Development Alliance of the Union "Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)" Dmitry Sudakov.

The collection The Presidential Library: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, containing official documents, scientific research, collections of scientific works and scientific and methodological materials, as well as documents of the official website of the President of Russia, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Russian Historical TV Channel, publishing house "Agency Inform-Planeta", private collections and other sources is available to the librarians.
