Online lesson "Crimean Spring" held in Kurgan

Kurgan Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library on the day of the celebration of the next anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia presented the online lesson "Crimean Spring".

Using materials from the collections Crimea in Postcards and Republic of Crimea: Pages of History presented in the Presidential Library as well as publications from the Yugovka collections, the authors of the video tell about historical events related to the Republic of Crimea and its relationship with Russia.

According to the library's specialists, the online lesson will help to form a holistic idea of ​​the commonality of the historical fate of the peoples inhabiting the Crimea and the peoples of Russia and will be of interest not only to history teachers, students studying in this specialty in universities, high school students, but also to a wide range of readers and remote users.

The Presidential Library’s portal features a separate collection about Kurgan Region, which includes studies, statistical essays, archival documents, cartographic and photographic materials of the 19th - early 21st centuries, spotlighting the administrative, socio-economic, geographical position of the Kurgan and Shadrinsky districts, which territory is based on modern Kurgan Region.
