"Biblionoch" campaign held at the Volgograd Regional Centre of the Presidential Library

Last weekend of April 2021, the Volgograd Regional Information Resource Centre of the Presidential Library took part in the large-scale All-Russian Campaign "Biblionoch-2021. Book - the Way to the Stars".

As part of the campaign, the Centre hosted a "Space Robotics" workshop, arranged jointly with the "Centre for Youth Innovative Creativity" of the "Young Designers' Laboratory".

Teenagers took part in a quest game "Word Cloud", devoted to Space. It featured key events, personalities, technical inventions, as well as questions about outer space.

Also, the Centre's visitors could write "A Letter to Space". The photo zone "The Way to the Stars" was open for everyone.

At the end of the event, the participants watched the "Space Pilots" documentary from the Presidential Library's collections. The film employs video footage of secret tests with human participation.

The Presidential Library's portal provides an extensive collection Outer Space, which includes fragments of newsreels, periodicals, books, postcards, commemorative medals and emblems highlighting various milestones in the development of astronautics.
