A virtual exhibition about the Great Patriotic War arranged in Bashkortostan

Regional Centre of Access to the Presidential Library's Resources in the Republic of Bashkortostan at the Ahmet Zeki Velidi National Library promotes the virtual exhibition "Prominent Names and Dates..." devoted to the contribution of the Soviet people to the victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).

The resource features information about the contribution of Bashkortostan residents to the elimination of the enemy. It tells about the evacuation of industrial enterprises and the population, the changes in everyday life during the war. It also contains links to thematic publications from the collections of the Presidential Library, the National Electronic Library of the Republic of Bashkortostan and other digital resources.

The virtual exhibition "Prominent Names and Dates..." engages the electronic collections of the Presidential Library Memory of the Great Victory, Living Memory and contains links to the resources Memorial and Memory of the People.

Visitors also may participate in the thematic quiz "The Battle Ended Long Ago...", check their knowledge independently and receive a relevant electronic certificate.

The Presidential Library's portal provides a separate collection devoted to the Republic of Bashkortostan. It includes studies, essays, archival documents, statistical, cartographic, photo and audio materials revealing the socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the republic in the XVIII-XXI centuries.
