Festival of children's creativity "Multimedia Festival" held at the Presidential Library

Traditionally, the last May Presidential Library’s Cinema Club meeting is dedicated to the creativity of children's film studios in the field of creating animation and multimedia films. The theme of this year's film festival was “Multimedia and IT-design in the field of additional education for children”.

Guests of the Presidential Library learned about the works of three creative teams of St. Petersburg, revealing a unique experience of using multimedia technologies in the educational sphere - films "Animatica", "Five reasons not to become a person", "Let's wait and see, said the crucian carp, frying in a pan", "The genome of memory. Episode 5", filmed by students of the school of young professionals "M-Art" of the Center for Creative Development and Humanitarian Education "On Vasilievsky", as well as the film "...The distance is clear with a Hope. P. Zh. Beranger" of the cinema studios "Paradise" of the adolescent and youth club "Mayak" and "Dynamics" of the "Center "Dynamics"" of the Admiralteisky district of St. Petersburg.

The event was broadcast live on the Presidential Library's portal in the Live broadcasts section, the VKontakte social network and on the institution's YouTube channel.

The "Multimedia Festival", which presents the work of young filmmakers studying in multimedia studios of the city and country, has been held in the Presidential Library since 2013. Consideration of creative works of novice filmmakers, including video works from studios of additional education for children, is one of the conceptual directions of the Presidential Library's cinema club.

The co-organizers of the festival are the Lennauchfilm film studio, the St. Petersburg Documentary Film Studio, the Russian Institute of Art History and the Youth Center of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation.
