Cooperation between the Yekaterinburg Suvorov Military School and the regional center of the Presidential Library continues

The Sverdlovsk regional center of the Presidential Library at the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a regular meeting with the pupils of the Yekaterinburg Suvorov military school.

The event was marked by several pleasant events at once, since it took place on May 26 - on the birthday of the Belinsky library and on the eve of the All-Russian Library Day.

The specialists of the regional center of the Presidential Library were presented with a letter of gratitude signed by the head of the Yekaterinburg Suvorov Military School, Yuri Zatonatsky, for fruitful cooperation and active social partnership that contributes to the sustainable development of the educational process.

In turn, the librarian of the school Galina Gurbich received a diploma for the second place in the "Media projects" nomination of the regional contest "Epoch. Dialogue Through the Centuries” for the work with the resources of the Presidential Library.

At the end of the solemn part, the Suvorovites were given a lesson-acquaintance with the resources of the Presidential Library with a demonstration of a 3D tour around the cruiser Aurora, a master class on the design of school projects using interactive services, as well as a tour of the Belinsky Library with a visit to the departments of rare books, restoration and conservation of the collections and the familiarity with the work of the book conveyor in the main book storage.

 

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History, which contains statistical materials, studies, essays and photographs of the 19th - early 20th centuries and introduces the geographical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects of the history of the region.
