Yamal Regional Center of the Presidential Library - participant of the webinar dedicated to the "RIO.Kompass" project

Employees of the Yamal Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the National Library of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area and their colleagues from the remote access centers opened at the libraries of the cities of Novy Urengoy and Salekhard, the villages of Tazovsky and Yar-Sale, took part in a webinar dedicated to educational historical portal "RIO.Kompass".

This resource has been created by the Russian Historical Society with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation and is the largest unique library of online links to verified historical materials posted on the Runet. Users can easily find information about any period of the formation and development of our state - from Ancient Russia to the XXI century.

The organizer of the acquaintance with the resource was the Presidential Library, uniting through the broadcast the representatives of the regional centers of the Presidential Library and remote access centers to the resources of the Presidential Library, functioning in municipal libraries.

To date, more than 1,200 remote access centers of the Presidential Library have been opened in all 85 regions of the Russian Federation. Their organizational and methodological support is provided by the regional centers of the Presidential Library.
