How to understand photographs was told about at the Presidential Library’s master class

Master class entitled "Personnel organization and psychology of perception" was held on August 31, 2021 as part of the XI Foreign View International Annual Multimedia Contest at the Presidential Library (St. Petersburg, Senate Square, 3)

The master class was held by a professional photographer, head of the Yarkaya Photoshkola Vladimir Vishnevsky.

The event participants found an answer to the question - why we do not understand some of the photographs; using specific examples, they considered what tasks a particular photograph performed; discussed the mechanisms and stages of the perception of the photograph, depending on the experience.

At the end of the master class its participants were able to take a tour of the Presidential Library.

Vladimir Vishnevsky's master class was the second in a series of joint events between the Presidential Library and the Yarkiy Photomarket, a long-term partner of the institution, with the support of which the Foreign View Multimedia Contest is being held this year.
