The Novosibirsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library takes an active part in the Pedagogical Council of Novosibirsk

A number of events of the city pedagogical council "Municipal education system of the city of Novosibirsk: strategic goals and urgent tasks" took place at the Novosibirsk Regional Scientific Library.

On August 24, 2021, within the framework of the strategic session "Implementation of the concept of support and development of children's and youth reading", the head of the Novosibirsk regional center of the Presidential Library told the session participants about the resources and projects of the Presidential Library that contribute to the implementation of urgent tasks of educational and educational activities.

On August 25, 2021, at the start-session of city methodological associations "The components of the quality of education" (section of history and social science teachers), the teachers were presented the resources of the Presidential Library as a tool for interactive teaching in history lessons. On August 26, 2021, employees of the Novosibirsk Regional Center, together with colleagues from the Novosibirsk Library, took part in the VIII International Forum for Technological Development "Technoprom-2021", within which they presented a thematic stand "Resources - Space - Communications". The unique collection of the Presidential Library aroused great interest among visitors. Due to the variety of documents that form electronic collections of various topics, each participant was able to find a topic according to his interests: from regional studies to the history of Russia's relations with China and Mongolia.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Novosibirsk Region: Pages of History. It includes books, periodicals, archival documents and visual materials spotlighting various aspects of the history of Novosibirsk Region during the 18th - first half of the 20th century (geographical, administrative-territorial, economic, etc.).
