Marking the 200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoevsky: The Presidential Library presented a play about the writer
October 6, 2021 the Presidential Library hosted a cultural and educational event entitled From this moment on I will be silent about this forever. Fyodor Dostoevsky in Revel. It marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous writer, which will be celebrated on November 11, 2021.
The video lecture was intended for students and teachers of educational institutions of the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg. The event was free. The meeting was broadcast live on the Presidential Library's portal in Live broadcast section in accordance with the program of live events and on the institution's YouTube channel.
The writer and researcher of Fyodor Dostoevsky's oeuvre Andrey Galitsky gave a lecture Young and Little-known Dostoevsky. Then he presented his play From this moment on I will be silent about this forever. Fyodor Dostoevsky in Revel, which told about the little-studied period of life of the Russian writer. The presentation of the play was held in the format of an actor's reading, which involved theatre and cinema actress Elena Sekste and composer Anton Gladkikh.
