The Presidential Library attended the Annual Meeting of the Heads of Federal and Central Regional Libraries of Russia, which was held on November 18-19, 2021 in Moscow. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Library and the National Library of Russia.

The main topic of the meeting was Strategy for the Development of Librarianship in the Russian Federation until 2030. Implementation mechanisms. Further steps for the development of the librarianship were determined within its framework.

Particular attention was paid to the following areas: launching federal departmental and regional projects to solve key problems of libraries' activities, including the problems of acquisition and preservation of library collections, modernization of the country's library system (network); development of the library collections in Russia; digitalization of library activities.

The meeting included a plenary session, round tables and panel discussions, a solemn summing up and rewarding of the winners of the All-Russian contests Libraries. PROmovement, Library Analytics and a contest of scientific works in librarianship, bibliography and bibliology.

Thus, within the All-Russian contest of scientific works in library science, bibliography and bibliology in the special nomination of the Presidential Library "The best scientific work in the field of information resources integration", Tatyana Efremova, head of the Public Center for Legal Information of the Lipetsk Regional Universal Library, was awarded the winner's diploma. She was awarded by acting Director General of the Presidential Library Pavel Tereshchenko for the digital platform about Lipetsk Oblast during the Great Patriotic War Memory of the Eternal Flame.  

The event was held in a face-to-face and distance format.
