
Off-site meeting of the heads of the regional centers of the Presidential Library held at the Don State Public Library
October 12, 2021 a meeting of the heads of the regional centers of the Presidential Library was held at the Don State Public Library in Rostov-on-Don within the framework of the Annual Integration Forum. Representatives of 14 regions of the Russian Federation attended the event in full-time format. They were St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tyumen, Volgograd, Kemerovo, Komi Republic, Yekaterinburg, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, Ryazan, Tomsk, Kurgan, Magadan, Chuvash Republic, Yamalo-Nenets autonomous Region. Representatives of the Regional Center of the Republic of Buryatia, as well as Penza, Ryazan, Novosibirsk, Kurgan regional centers of the Presidential Library spoke at remote sites.
Director General of the Presidential Library Pavel Tereshchenko, Deputy Minister of Culture of Rostov Region Andrey Molodshev, Director of the Don State Public Library Evgenia Kolesnikova addressed the participants with the welcoming speech.
“Since this year, 10 remote centers of the Presidential Library have already been opened in Rostov Region. Three of them are based on educational institutions, seven are based on libraries”, - said Andrei Molodshev, Deputy Minister of Culture of Rostov Region.
As part of the meeting, by tradition, colleagues summed up their work, discussed topical issues of the current activities of the regional network of the Presidential Library, identified problem points and identified new tasks aimed at effective interaction and optimization of some areas of work of centers of remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library.
The second and third sessions were devoted to the exchange of experience of the regional centers of the Presidential Library. Practices of outreach and project activities were presented. The speakers reported on achievements, victories and disadvantages in their work, discussed a variety of issues: from quests to crowdfunding, and also talked about optimal solutions in the era of digitalization, consolidation of resources, participation in the national project Culture, methodological work, social partnership, information and the educational potential of regional centers, interactive platforms working in the centers of the Presidential Library in the regions, about the tools for promoting electronic collections, the culture of internal communications, strategic planning, information interaction regulations and, of course, successful long-term interregional cooperation.
Today, in accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation, more than 1,300 centers of remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library have been opened in all 85 regions of the country.
