The Presidential Library considered issues of law and information
November 26, 2021 XI International Scientific and Practical Conference on Legal Regulation in the Electronic Environment "Law and Information: Issues of Theory and Practice" was held at the Presidential Library (St. Petersburg, Senate Square, 3).
The purpose of the event was to focus on the current results of scientific research of domestic and foreign legislation and the experience of legal implementation in the context of the digitalization process of modern society.
The main topics of the conference were issues of the theory of information law and the practice of its application; improvement of information legislation and legislation on librarianship; legal aspects of the formation of a unified Russian electronic knowledge space and ensuring access to legal information; issues of information protection and legal regulation of the use of information technologies; development of e-government and digital economy.
The conference, which was held in a face-to-face-distance format using video communication, was attended by researchers and teachers, degree seekers, heads and employees of state and local government bodies and institutions, lawyers, employees of libraries and other organizations that provide public access to legal and other information.
The plenary meeting of the conference, the round table "Notary - an Assistant in the World of Digital Economy" as well as the reports of the participants are available on the institution's YouTube channel.
Scientific materials (articles, reports, reviews, etc.) prepared by the conference participants will be published in the scientific edition of the Presidential Library - a collection from the "Electronic Legislation" series.
