9 November 2021

In the year of the centenary of the founding of Mongolia and the establishment of diplomatic relations with Russia, 300 journalists, editors, and media heads from Mongolia and Russia took part in the II International Media Forum "Good Neighbors - Dialogue Without Borders".

The event was held in a blended format: via videoconferencing and or by attending the face-to-face meetings.

The relevant topic of the II International Media Forum "Good Neighbors - Dialogue Without Borders" was the opportunity for mutual exchange of specialists for advanced training.

On the opening day, the UBS Television Company (Ulaanbaatar) and the Tivikom Television Company (Ulan-Ude) signed a cooperation agreement. The conference continued on small discussion platforms devoted to various topics: television, radio, printed and Internet publications.

Journalists from different countries exchanged views on various issues. Thus, to strengthen cooperation, it is planned to create a Club of Chief Editors at the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar. It will include representatives of the most influential media of both countries.

Guests of the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar have an opportunity to explore the electronic collections of the Presidential Library in full. Since 2015, a Remote Electronic Reading Room of the Presidential Library has been working in the Mongolian capital.

The institution's portal presents a digital collection Russia - Mongolia: History of Relations. It features studies, essays, archival and other materials covering specific aspects of Mongolian life, the history of diplomatic, military and economic ties of both countries during the XIII-XXI centuries.
