Novosibirsk Regional Centre of the Presidential Library took part in a regional scientific and methodological seminar

On November 11, 2021, a representative of the Regional Centre of the Presidential Library at the Novosibirsk State Regional Scientific Library took part in a meeting of the scientific and methodological seminar "Identification, Registration and Preservation of Book Rarities in the Districts of Novosibirsk Region". It was intended for librarians of the Iskitimsky District of Novosibirsk Region. This working meeting opened a series of visiting seminars for librarians of Novosibirsk Region.

Galina Gubchenko, the head of the Regional Centre of the Presidential Library, in her speech "Book Rarities on the History of Russian Statehood in the Presidential Library's Collection" drew the audience's attention to the specifics of the formation of the Presidential Library's Collection. She highlighted the improved collection devoted to the 200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoevsky. Talking to the library specialists of the Rare Books Department, Galina Gubchenko described the content of the Book Rarities of the Presidential Library collection. The presentation included the display of documents and their description.

The Presidential Library's portal provides the collection Novosibirsk Region: Pages of History. It features books, periodicals, archival documents and graphic materials covering various aspects of the history of Novosibirsk Region in the XVIII - early XX century (geographical, administrative-territorial, economic, etc.) and the current Charter of Novosibirsk Region.
