Exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of Mikhail Lomonosov opened in Penza

The Regional Center of Access to the Resources of the Presidential Library based the Lermontov Penza Regional Library hosts the exhibition "The Light of Russian Science" dedicated to the 310th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Lomonosov (1711–1765).

The exhibition features publications that introduce the biography of the scientist, his scientific and literary works and spotlight all the versatility of this bright personality. For example, the book by V. I. Shubinsky from the series "The Life of Remarkable People" reveals the powerful personality of Mikhail Lomonosov. The specialists of the Regional Center prepared an electronic presentation of the resources of the Presidential Library about the remarkable Russian scientist, poet, thinker. It contains books, periodicals, visual materials and video works from the collection Mikhail Lomonosov (1711-1765) posted on the Presidential Library’s portal.

The Presidential Library’s portal also features Penza Region: Pages of History collection. It includes archival files, essays, studies and statistical materials covering various aspects of the history of the region at the end of the 18th - first third of the 20th centuries: demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and others.
