Results of "The Entire Penza Region" Olympiad summed up at the exhibition-fair "The World of Books on the Penza Land"

Throughout the year the Lermontov Penza Regional Library together with the Presidential Library held a regional online Olympiad "The Entire Penza Region". The results of the Olympiad were summed up at the exhibition-fair "The World of Books on the Penza Land" on November 27, 2021 which included the awards ceremony for the winners of the Olympiad rounds and the absolute winners.

The Olympiad consisted of four rounds. The first was dedicated to the territory of the Penza province. Ivan Karasev (Penza) became the winner. The second round made it possible to reveal knowledge about outstanding Russian statesmen associated with Penza Region. Diana Kuzmich (Tamalinsky district) became the winner of the round.

The third round of the Olympiad was addressed to fans and experts in the literary creation of Penza residents. The winners were Anna Meshcheryakova (Penza) and Anna Meleshkina (Zarechny).

The fourth round was dedicated to the peoples of the Penza province. Anna Meshcheryakova (Penza) became the winner of the round.

The absolute winners of "The Entire Penza Region" Olympiad were: 1st place - Alexander Ilyin (Penza). 2nd place - Irina Voronevskaya (Penza). 3rd place - Anna Meshcheryakova (Penza).

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It includes archival files, essays, studies and statistical materials spotlighting various aspects of the history of the region at the end of the 18th - first third of the 20th centuries: demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and others.
