The psychological safety of the educational space of Leningrad Region touched upon at the Presidential Library

On December 15, 2021 the Presidential Library hosted the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Psychological Safety of the Region's Educational Space".

The purpose of the conference was to disseminate the experience of creating and maintaining a psychologically safety space in the region, increasing the psychological and pedagogical competence of managers in the field of psychological design, ensuring the psychological security of children and adolescents in an educational organization, reducing the risks of a destructive impact on the positive development of subjects of the educational environment.

The main directions of the conference were:

• Psychological well-being and safety of children and youth in the modern educational and social space.
• Formation of professional competence of leaders of the education system in the field of psychological design of a safe educational space.
• Best practices and technologies for providing psychological security for children, adolescents, youth in an educational organization and social environment.

The event was attended by the ombudsman for the rights of the child in Leningrad region Tamara Litvinova, representatives of the committee for general and vocational education of Leningrad region, the Center for the Development of Education of the Russian Academy of Education, the Leningrad Regional Institute for the Development of Education, the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, Moscow State University, Moscow State Psychological and Pedagogical University, Minsk City Institute for Education Development, Leningrad Regional Center for Psychological, Pedagogical, Medical and Social Assistance, Center for Psychological, Pedagogical, Medical and Social Assistance of the Vsevolozhsk District of Leningrad Region, schools of Leningrad Region.

The video greeting was made by the President of the Russian Academy of Education, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education Olga Vasilyeva. Deputy Director General of the institution Yaroslava Borozdina addressed the participants from the part of the Presidential Library.
