A two-volume book dedicated to Fyodor Dostoevsky published in Turkey

The Turkish publishing house Hece Yayinlary published a two-volume Dostoevsky: Special Edition to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Fyodor Dostoevsky. It features numerous facts of the writer's biography, some of his works, studies of the influence of Dostoevsky's work on world literature.

Experts from eight countries were involved in book composing. They are Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany, Iran, China, Ukraine, Russia and Turkey.

Dostoevsky's books translated into Turkish are sold in Turkey, and the writer's works are studied at the Russian language departments at local universities.

A large number of materials dedicated to the Russian classics are presented in the large-scale electronic collection of the Presidential Library Fyodor Dostoevsky (1821–1881), which includes digital copies of the texts of his works and publications about the life and career of the writer.

Part of the materials of the electronic collections of the Presidential Library is available on the institution’s portal. The information resources of the library are available at remote access centers opened in different countries of the world, one of which has been opened at the Russian House in Ankara since 2014.
