Workshop "The Potential of Information Resources of the Presidential Library"

On February 4, 2022 the Presidential Library’s specialists held a workshop "The Potential of Information Resources of the Presidential Library" for employees of cultural and educational institutions of Republic of Crimea in a remote format.

The head office was represented by the Head of the Department of Interregional and Interdepartmental Cooperation Valeria Valerievna Malakhovskaya and Deputy Head of the Department Sergei Valerievich Neganov.

The speakers were director of the Tyumen branch of the Presidential Library Oleg Leonidovich Shor who gave examples of the integration of information resources into the educational process of educational organizations; Deputy Director Olga Viktorovna Kutyrlo dwelled on the collections World War II in Archival Documents and Memory of the Great Victory; Head of the Scientific and Educational Department of the Presidential Library Alla Yuryevna Ryabova spoke about the educational projects of the institution.

The workshop included the materials from the Presidential Library’s collections for inclusion in work with various user groups.

The colleagues expressed great interest in the topics raised, noted the usefulness and practicality of the information provided by the speakers.

Within 2022 a cycle of similar workshops is planned for other regions. The participation of specialists from regional, municipal, departmental libraries, including information and library centers of educational organizations, methodologists of educational authorities at the regional and municipal levels is expected.
