The Presidential Library’s video lecture spotlighted constitutional right of everyone to free labor

On March 10, 2022 the Presidential Library hosted a video lecture entitled “Everyone’s Constitutional Right to Free Labor” as part of the Knowledge of Russia project. The event continued the cycle of lectures "Man, his rights and freedoms - the highest constitutional value". 

Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of State Law, the Pushkin Leningrad State University Vadim Mamonov considered issues of the legal content of the concept of "labor", the relationship between the categories "freedom of labor" and "the right to work", legislative regulation of working conditions. The lecture focused on the right to rest, the right to individual and collective labor disputes. The video lecture participants were also able to learn about the materials of judicial practice.

The history of the fundamental law of our country is available in the materials of the special digital collection of the Presidential Library Constitution - Basic Law. It contains the texts of the constitutions of the Russian state of various historical eras - the first constitution of the RSFSR of 1918, three constitutions of the USSR (1924, 1936 and 1977), the constitutions of the RSFSR of 1925, 1937 and 1978, the Constitution of the Russian Federation of 1993, original texts and editions constitutions of individual subjects of the Russian Federation.

The Presidential Library provides the Constitution of our country with the amendments approved during the all-Russian vote on July 1, 2020. The document text is placed in the collections of the institution and published on its official portal.
