Performances by young musicians performed at the Presidential Library

On March 30, 2022 the Presidential Library (Senate Square, 3) hosted the awarding and gala concert of the laureates of the IV Open All-Russian Vocal and Instrumental Arts Contest for the Award of the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center.

The event was held within the framework of the IV International Music Festival "Offering to Elena Obraztsova". More than 280 novice musicians aged 7 to 22 from Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Australia and China participated in the contest. It was held in full-time and remote formats.

The winners of the contest were awarded prizes and special awards. The winner of the main award of the contest - "The Award of the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center" - received a cash prize and a laureate diploma. In each age group, the titles of laureate and diploma winner of the contest were awarded. The partners of the contest also established their own special prizes. The best of the young musicians will perform on the stages of the Volgograd, Lipetsk, Karelian and Tver Philharmonics.

The Open All-Russian contest of vocal and instrumental art for the award of the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center was established in 2019. The main purpose of its holding is to support children with abilities in the field of vocal and instrumental performance.

Cooperation between the Presidential Library and the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center has been going on for more than one year. In the building at Senate Square 3, the winners of international contests for young opera singers and young vocalists of Elena Obraztsova have already performed more than once and in Petersburg there was held a lifetime anniversary concert in honor of the 75th anniversary of one of the greatest opera stars in the world and a gala evening dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center.
