Participants of the upcoming Victory Parade visited the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library

The Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a review marking the Day of Military Glory of Russia, which was celebrated on April 18. A significant date is dedicated to the victory of Russian soldiers under the command of Prince Alexander Nevsky in the battle with the knights of the Teutonic Order on Lake Peipsi: the battle took place 780 years ago and is known to everyone as the Battle on the Ice.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the current collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History which contains statistical materials, studies, essays and photographs of the 19th - early 20th centuries and spotlights geographical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects the history of the region.
