Schools in Tajikistan received more than 600 books

In April Rossotrudnichestvo donated textbooks to educational institutions  № 2 and “Nuri Rahmon” in the Asht district of Sughd Region. Russian-teaching classes received 608 books: textbooks on the Russian language and literature, teaching aids in mathematics, didactic materials on algebra, and collections of problems in physics for middle and senior grades. School principals Maruf Khairulloev and Manzura Komilova thanked the Russian House in Khujand on behalf of the teaching specialists, parents and students of the school for the humanitarian assistance and cooperation provided.

A remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library has been opened since 2011 at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Dushanbe.

Guests to the Russian House have opportunity to learn about the large-scale electronic collection of the Presidential Library The Russian Language.

A large number of materials on the relationship between Tajikistan and Russia are available in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Tajikistan: Geography, Ethnography, History.

The collection includes geographical essays and ethnographic studies of the period when Tajikistan became part of the Russian Empire as well as photographs and fragments of newsreel dedicated to the Pamir expeditions of the 20-30s of the last century.
