Center of the Russian Language, History and Culture opened in Republic of Belarus

Polotsk, at the initiative of the Russian House in Minsk, hosted a Center of the Russian Language, History and Culture. Students, teachers and residents of the city will be able to study here. The center has been based on Polotsk State University. To launch the work of the Center, the Russian House in Minsk handed over more than 800 books and five art exhibitions. Thus, until July 3, 2022, guests have opportunity to visit the exposition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and the liberation of Minsk from the Nazis.

A large number of materials dedicated to the Great Patriotic War is available in the large-scale electronic collection of the Presidential Library Memory of the Great Victory.

The collection includes official documents, photographs and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, agitation and propaganda publications, collections of articles, biographies, testimonies of participants in combat battles and home front workers, their personal documents, images of military and labor awards, monuments and memorials.

Part of the materials of the electronic collections of the Presidential Library is available on the institution’s portal and in the remote access centers.
