Virtual exhibition at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library of Republic of Bashkortostan

Marking the anniversary of the Russian Emperor Peter I the Regional Center of Access to the Resources of the Presidential Library in Republic of Bashkortostan at the Akhmet-Zaki Validi National Library of Republic of Bashkortostan hosted a virtual exhibition Peter I - the name of Russia, which includes a brief biography of the emperor, links to his manuscripts, collections of correspondence, works of historians, photo and video materials available in the collections of the Presidential Library and the National Library of Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as information about museums dedicated to him with the possibility of virtual tours.

In addition, the exhibition contains a link to an online-quiz consisting of 15 questions that reveal the facts of the biography of Peter I.

Republic of Bashkortostan is spotlighted in a separate collection on the Presidential Library’s portal. It includes archival documents, essays, statistical, cartographic, photo and audio materials that reveal the socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the republic in the period of the 18th-21st centuries.
