
Exhibition of works by Russian artists opened in Dushanbe
An exhibition of works by Russian artists from the collections of the National Museum of Republic has been opened at the National Museum of Tajikistan. The exposition marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Tajikistan.
62 canvases by Aivazovsky, Deineka, Savrasov, Kustodiev, Serov, Repin, Levitan, Shishkin and other world-famous artists depict life, culture and landscapes of Russia. The exhibition will run until August 23, 2022.
Since 2011, representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Dushanbe provides a center of remote access to information resources of the Presidential Library.

The collection dedicated to the Russian language as the state language of the Russian Federation was formed by September 1, 2013 and included 539 items. Today, its volume is 1,176 depository items. It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian literature, archives, research papers (including dissertations and theses), dictionaries and reference books, teaching aids of various types and levels.
A large number of materials on the relationship between Tajikistan and Russia is available in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Tajikistan: Geography, Ethnography, History.
The collection includes geographical essays and ethnographic studies of the period when Tajikistan became part of the Russian Empire, as well as photographs and fragments of newsreel dedicated to the Pamir expeditions of the 20-30s of the last century.
