The exhibition "With love for the book: publishers and book critics" opened in Penza

On June 23, 2022 the electronic reading room of the Lermontov Penza Regional Library hosted a book exhibition "With love for the book: publishers and book critics", dedicated to the anniversaries of famous publishers and book lovers F. A. Brockhaus, N A. Rubakin, P. P. Soykin.

An addition to the exhibition items was a virtual presentation of unique books from the Presidential Library’s collections such as rare editions of Brockhaus-Efron, and the works of the bibliologist N. A. Rubakin, for example, his book Famous Russian workers: stories about Russian people received special attention.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It includes archives, studies and statistical materials covering various aspects of the history of the region at the end of the 18th - the first third of the 20th century: demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and others.
