Sakhalin – Crimea: New interregional project

Specialists of the Crimean Regional Centre of the Presidential Library based on the Franko Crimea Republican Universal Research Library have prepared a series of questions for the regional stage of My Russia: Republic of Crimea for the interregional local history online-quiz My Russia, using the Presidential Library’s resources.

The project is organized by the Sakhalin Regional Universal Research Library. The quiz aims to increase the interest in studying history and culture of Russian regions.

Anyone can test their knowledge or learn something new about Republic of Crimea, by answering 30 questions in 5 sections: Milestones of History, Culture, Good as gold: About people who greatly contributed to the history of region’s development, Wanting to live here: Interesting places and Military pages of 1941-1945.

Quiz My Russia: Republic of Crimea is available online. In order to participate in the regional stage of the quiz, it is necessary to sign up on the website of the Sakhalin Regional Library.

Participants may find it interesting to study the materials of Persons of Russia – a section of the Presidential Library’s basic collection Russian People that features biographic materials on outstanding Russian statesmen, political figures, military men and church leaders, scientists, cultural and art workers.
