Penza Regional Center prepared a manual for remote access centers

Specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library have prepared for the operators of the remote access centers to the resources of the institution a methodological guide “3D of success: demonstrate, share, move forward”.

The guide provides recommendations on the organization of user service in the electronic reading room, statistical accounting and planning. The manual contains a job description, a reader's questionnaire, a reporting form, as well as an approximate structure of a multimedia lesson or a tour that can be held using the content of the Presidential Library’s portal. It also gives practical recommendations for finding information in a remote electronic reading room and on the website prlib.ru; tells about the structure of the library’s portal, educational projects and virtual exhibitions.

The manual will be of interest to specialists who use the resources of the Presidential Library in the field of patriotic education, the study of the history of Russian statehood and the Russian language, legal education, promotion of knowledge about outstanding figures of science, literature and culture.

The Presidential Library’s portal provides the collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It includes archive documents, essays, research and statistical materials covering various aspects of the region's development in the 18th–20th centuries.
