Ryazan Regional Center joined the patriotic campaign "Keep the flag in the wind"

Employees of the Ryazan Regional Center of the Presidential Library took part in a bicycle-scooter run, held as part of the All-Russian Patriotic campaign "Keep the flag in the wind". The event was timed to coincide with the State Flag Day of the Russian Federation.

The campaign has been organized by the Gorky Ryazan Regional Universal Scientific Library, the Council of Young Librarians of Ryazan Region and the regional branch of the All-Russian Public Movement "Volunteers of Culture".

Before the start of the run, representatives of the regional branches of the All-Russian public organization "Young Guard of United Russia" and the All-Russian children's and youth military-patriotic public movement "UNARMIA" unfurled the tricolor to the song "Flag of my state", which was performed by the team of the Cultural Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Ryazan Region.

Anna Roslyakova, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of Ryazan Region, welcomed the event participants and started the run.

The Presidential Library contains the most valuable collections of documents spotlighting the history of the country from ancient times to the present day. The institution’s collections involve a lot of interesting materials about the symbols of state authority, which are presented in the Symbols of State Authority section of the State Authority basic collection. The video lecture The State Flag of Russia in the Flag section also introduces the history of the tricolor.
