The Presidential Library features a number of projects at the VII Eastern Economic Forum

The Presidential Library attends the VII Eastern Economic Forum, which is held from September 5-8, 2022 in Vladivostok, and features a number of projects aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership with the region.

Especially for the forum, the Presidential Library has formed a new comprehensive electronic collection Far East: Point of Attraction. More than 1,500 unique materials from the electronic collections of the Presidential Library spotlight the history, economy, science and culture of one of the most important and most dynamically developing regions of Russia. The collection includes archives, traveler research, photographs, maps, documents revealing the history of the development of each of the 11 subjects of Far Eastern Federal District. A separate section is devoted to international relations with the countries of Asia-Pacific Region. Separately, official documents focused on the preparation and holding of the Eastern Economic Forum are available. A video about the collection Far East: Point of Attraction can be viewed at the VEF site at the booth of Primorye Territory. The collection materials are available to a wide range of users on the Presidential Library’s portal.

As part of the Eastern Economic Forum, it is planned to meet the leadership of the Presidential Library with representatives of state authorities of the Far Eastern Federal District and Primorye Territory, rectors of universities, as well as the signing of a number of agreements and the opening of remote access centers to the national electronic repository. Today, more than 50 remote reading rooms of the Presidential Library are available on the territory of Far Eastern Federal District.

A workshop "The Potential of Information Resources of the Presidential Library" will be held for specialists of the system of education and culture of Primorye Territory on September 8. The event will be held at the Primorye Regional Institute for the Development of Education. At the workshop, the participants will be told about the library’s electronic collections, about the formation on the website of the institution of the Collection of digitized archival documents, film and photo materials dedicated to World War II, as well as about the educational projects of the Presidential Library: the Olympiad for schoolchildren Russia in the Electronic World, a contest of students’ works, multimedia lessons, video lectures Knowledge of Russia and others.
