Regional stage of the online-quiz “My Russia” takes place in Bashkortostan

Regional Centre of the Presidential Library based on the Akhmet-Zaki Validi National Library (Ufa) invites everyone to take part in the next qualifying stage of the interregional online-quiz My Russia, dedicated to Republic of Bashkortostan.

Within the framework of the event, participants have an opportunity to test their knowledge and learn numerous interesting things about the culture and traditions of Bashkortostan. Participants must answer a number of questions on five topics – Milestones of History, Culture, Good as gold: About people who greatly contributed to the history of region’s development, Wanting to live here: Interesting places and Military pages of 1941-1945.

Quiz My Russia: Republic of Bashkortostan is available online from September 12 until October 20, 2022. In order to participate in the regional stage, it is necessary to sign up on the official website of the Sakhalin Regional Universal Research Library. More information on the quiz is available in the Regulations on its conduct.

Organizer of the quiz is the Sakhalin Regional Universal Research Library. Qualifying stages have already taken place in libraries of Sakhalin Region, Jewish Autonomous Region and Republic of Crimea. The event aims at increasing interest in learning history and culture of various regions of the country.

A special collection on the Presidential Library’s portal is dedicated to Republic of Bashkortostan. It features archival documents, essays, statistical, cartographic and audiovisual materials that reveal socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the region in the XVIII-XXI centuries.
