The Presidential Library’s cooperation with museums discussed in Kemerovo Region

On October 5, 2022 in the Tomskaya Pisanitsa Museum-Reserve, the round table “Museums: Modern Approaches to the Organization of Access to Cultural Heritage” was held within the framework of the Annual Integration Forum.

The event has been dedicated to the work of museums in the State Catalogue of the Museum Collections of the Russian Federation, the digitization of museum collections, the description and indexing of museum resources. 

Participants of the round table have discussed the digital documentation of rock art objects, in particular, the petroglyph system of Kemerovo Region, 3D-modeling of historical and cultural heritage, modern methods of presentation of cultural heritage in the Kuzbass State Local History Museum, as well as the experience and prospects of the Presidential Library’s cooperation with the museum community.

On the same day, the remote electronic reading room of the Presidential Library was opened in the Tomskaya Pisanitsa Museum-Reserve of Kemerovo Region. Earlier, the cooperation agreement between the library and the museum-reserve was signed by Director General of the Presidential Library Yuri Nosov and Director of the Tomskaya Pisanitsa Museum-Reserve Maxim Golovin.

Negotiations with the administration of the Krasnaya Gorka Museum-Reserve and the Kuzbass State Local History Museum on the implementation of joint projects have also been held.

The events of the XIII Scientific and Practical Conference “Cultural Heritage: Integration of Resources in the Digital Space” take place on October 3-5, 2022 at the Fyodorov Kuzbass State Research Library in Kemerovo and the Presidential Library in St. Petersburg.

The organizers are the Presidential Library under the jurisdiction of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, Federal Archival Agency, Union of Museums of Russia, Russian Library Association, Ministry of Culture and National Policy of Kuzbass, Ministry of Culture of Kemerovo Region, Fyodorov Kuzbass State Research Library.
