Gifted children of Russia performed at a concert in the Presidential Library

On October 8, 2022 the Presidential Library hosted the gala concert “Gifted Children of Russia”.

The goal of the event is to support young talented musicians, promote their performances on the best stages of St. Petersburg. The event has been organized by the Petersburg Heritage and Prospect Foundation and the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center with the participation of the Government and the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg.

Director General of the Presidential Library has addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech. He noted that the organization of gala concerts at the Presidential Library has become a good tradition and wished new victories and achievements to the future stars.

Winners and recipients of special awards of the Elena Obraztsova International Competition of Young Vocalists, All-Russian Competition of Vocal and Instrumental Arts for the Prize of the Elena Obraztsova Cultural Center, Nutcracker International Television Contest for Young Musicians have taken part in the event. The participants were the winner of the First Prize of the Elena Obraztsova Competition of Young Vocalists Anastasiya Yegorova, winner of “The Clear Voice” Prize Taisiya Bogdanova, recipient of the Special Prize and Gratitude of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Leonardo Hener Mendoza, winners of the Nutcracker International Television Contest Vera Kogay (xylophone), Stefania Pospekhina (violin) and Konstantin Sinyov (saxophone). Young musicians have performed accompanied by the Tavrichesky International Symphonic Orchestra under the direction of People’s Artists of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Mikhail Golikov. The program included compositions by Bach, Vivaldi, Haydn, Mozart, Rossini, Bazzini, Tchaikovsky, Pakhmutova.

Diplomas have been awarded to the participants of the concert by Director of Special Projects of the State Kremlin Orchestra of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, founder of the “Opera” Foundation Vera Kononova.
