Humanitarian mission of international program "Mission Dobro" launched in Baku

On October 25, 2022 a meeting with a delegation of professional volunteers of the project, Russian language teachers with representatives of the Friendship Club of the Peoples of Azerbaijan and Russia was held at the Russian House in Baku.

The event participants discussed the role of international volunteering in the development of cultural and linguistic interaction, in supporting social, environmental and humanitarian projects.

The parties shared their experience of participating in various volunteer programs, as well as their vision of the most promising areas for the development of volunteer movements in Russia and Azerbaijan.

The organizers of the international humanitarian project "Mission Dobro" in Azerbaijan are the Russian Humanitarian Mission, the Association of Volunteer Centers and the Russian House in Baku with the support of the Association of Teachers of Russian-speaking Educational Institutions of Azerbaijan.

The Center of Remote Access to Information Resources of the Presidential Library opened in 2011 at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Baku provides guests of the Russian House with the whole variety of collections of the library's electronic holdings.

Visitors to the Russian House will be interested in the collection Russian Language from the institution's electronic collections. It includes more than 1,100 depository items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian literature, archives, research papers, dictionaries, reference books, teaching aids and much more.

Guests to the Russian House have an opportunity to learn about materials on the history of relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, which are available in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russia - Azerbaijan: the History of Relations.
