Bashkortostan hosted an off-site meeting of representatives of republican libraries

On November 24, 2022 the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Akhmet-Zaki Validi National Library of Republic of Bashkortostan held a working meeting with representatives of public libraries in the region. The event took place at the Central Library of the city of Kumertau.

The meeting focused on the issues of organizing remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library and the practice of their use in cultural and educational activities. In addition, the participants outlined further plans for joint work.

As part of the off-site meeting, specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library also visited the branch library № 3 of the city of Kumertau, where it is planned to open a second point of remote access to the resources of the institution.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Republic of Bashkortostan: Pages of History. It includes studies, essays, archive documents, statistical, cartographic and audiovisual materials that spotlight various aspects of the development of the region in the 18th-21st centuries.
