The final workshop from the cycle of training events for librarians "Point on the Map" held in Sverdlovsk Region

On December 8, 2022 representatives of the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library and specialists of the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library held an educational workshop "Point on the Map" for librarians of the Sysert district.

The event participants were told about the activities of the Presidential Library, its electronic holdings, the features of dealing with the portal and the electronic reading room. Representatives of the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library also shared their experience in creating virtual expositions with colleagues.

The workshop in the city of Sysert completed a series of field trips as part of a project to strengthen the work of the supporting libraries of the Presidential Library network in Sverdlovsk Region. A total of 12 municipalities were covered. The next stage is the conclusion of agreements between the supporting libraries of the region and the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History. It includes statistical materials, studies, essays and photographs of the 19th - early 20th centuries spotlighting various aspects of the development of the region.
