Large-scale interregional project "Traveling to the Regional Centers of the Presidential Library of Russia" completed

A partnership project, which connected all regional centers of the Presidential Library, has been implemented in the Yugra State Library with the support of the Presidential Library for two years. It was initiated and coordinated by the Khanty-Mansi Regional Centre of the Presidential Library.

The project was implemented within the framework of the “Presidential Library in Yugra” program, and became the winner of the Competition of the best regional practices of organizational and methodological support of remote access centers to the Presidential Library’s resources in the nomination "Cultural Initiative of a Methodologist". Its main goal is the media promotion of the activities of regional centers.

The final online meeting within the framework of the project took place in December 2022 and gathered 1,500 participants. In its course, representatives of 16 regional centers of the Presidential Library told about their activities: Khanty-Mansi, Sverdlovsk, Crimean, Buryat, Ryazan, Volgograd, Chelyabinsk, Tambov, Penza, Yamalo-Nenets, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Rostov, Moscow, and Komi Republic.

Users can find information about the Presidential Library’s regional centers and the central depositories of the regions, read the latest news, watch presentation materials, live broadcasts and video recordings of meetings, as well as leave reviews on the specially created website of the “Traveling to the Regional Centers of the Presidential Library of Russia” project.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, essays, research papers, statistical and audiovisual materials revealing various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
