12 January 2023

The Russian House in Ankara, with the support of Akkuyu Nuclear company, has released a diary for 2023 to mark the 100th anniversary of Republic of Turkey and the history of Russian-Turkish relations.

The works of the artist Yevgeny Lanceray, made by him in 1922 during his participation in the mission of the first permanent representative of the RSFSR in Turkey, Semyon Aralov, have been used in the design of the publication.

In addition, the pages of the diary contain quotes from Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, given in Semyon Aralov's book “Memoirs of a Soviet Diplomat. 1922-1923". Here is one of them: “We are friends with Russia. Russia was the first to recognize us and our national rights and showed us respect. Under these conditions, both today and tomorrow, and always, Russia can be sure of the friendship of Turkey”.

The remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library opened in 2014 at the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Ankara, today allows guests of the Russian House to learn about the whole variety of collections of the library's electronic holdings.

Visitors to the Russian House will be interested in the collection Russian Language from the electronic holdings of the Presidential Library. It includes more than 1,100 depository items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian literature, archives, research papers, dictionaries, reference books, teaching aids and much more.
