The Russian House in Astana, together with Kazakhstani partners, launched a new project to mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day “The Great Patriotic War: a View from the 21st century”.

A webinar for teachers "Teachers during the Holocaust: Destruction, Resistance, Salvation" was held as part of it on January 16, 2023.

On January 24–26, 2023 the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo will also organize the participation of the winners of the contest of the same name from Kazakhstan in the conference of students and young scientists “The Holocaust: Memory and Prevention”, which will be held in Moscow.

In addition, on January 27, 2023, a commemorative rally and the opening of the exhibition "Holocaust: Destruction, Resistance, Salvation" of the scientific and educational center "Holocaust" will be held in Alma-Ata.

The remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library, opened in 2013 at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Astana, today allows guests of the Russian House to learn about the whole variety of collections of the library's electronic holdings.

Visitors to the Russian House will be interested in the collection Memory of the Great Victory from the institution's electronic holdings. It includes official documents, photographs and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, agitation and propaganda publications, collections of articles, biographies, testimonies of participants in combat battles and home front workers, their personal documents, images of military and labor awards, monuments and memorial complexes.

Guests of the Russia House have also an opportunity to learn about the materials on the history of relations between Russia and Kazakhstan, which are available in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russia - Kazakhstan: History of Relations.
