A day of advice for remote access centers of the Presidential Library held in Penza

Specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library held a day of advice for the remote access сenters of the Presidential Library, which took place on February 9, 2023.

Municipal library specialists were told about the digital collections and resources of the Presidential Library, which may be useful in preparing various thematic events in 2023. For example, such as the 240th anniversary of the outstanding Russian poet, translator Vasily Andreevich Zhukovsky. The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Vasily Zhukovsky (1783–1852), which includes his works, archival documents, studies of life and career, diaries, correspondence and other materials.

The meeting participants discussed issues of statistical accounting in electronic reading rooms and the possibility of searching for archival materials. It was also about the use of the library's electronic resources in organizing various public events for schoolchildren.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, essays, studies and statistical materials covering various aspects of the development of the region in the 18th–20th centuries.
