Schoolchildren of Tyumen learned about the Presidential Library’s resources

On February 8, 2023 the Branch of the Municipal Autonomous Institution of Culture of the city of Tyumen "Centralized City Library System" - "Library № 4" hosted a presentation of an electronic exhibition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of M. M. Prishvin.

With the help of a virtual exhibition created by the bibliographers of the branch based on the Presidential Library’s materials, high school students of the Municipal Autonomous General Educational Institution "Lyceum № 81 of the city of Tyumen" focused on the work of Mikhail Mikhailovich and learned more about the personality of the outstanding Russian writer. Then the lyceum students passed an online test based on the materials of the viewed presentation.

The chief bibliographer of the branch, Natalya Kuznetsova, also told schoolchildren and employees of the M. M. Prishvin Model Library about the Presidential Library’s resources and the possibility of their use in the educational process. The listeners learned about the educational projects, the Olympiad Russia in the Electronic World, the prize-winners and awardees of which have more than once become schoolchildren from Tyumen Region.

All event participants noted that the meeting was exciting and informative. Model library employees joined the branch community in social networks to keep abreast of video lectures, multimedia lessons, exhibitions and excursions held by the Presidential Library.
