Tomsk schoolchildren learned about the history of Soviet fashion

Specialists of the Tomsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Pushkin Tomsk Regional Universal Scientific Library held a media conversation with students of the 10th grade of secondary school № 22 in the village of Svetly.

The main stages of fashion development in the era of the USSR were touched upon at the meeting. The event took place at the municipal library "Alye Parusa".

At the end of the conversation, the guys took part in a quiz, which was also dedicated to the history of Soviet fashion. The most attentive listeners were able to correctly answer the questions about it.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Formation of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It includes collections of documents, archival materials and newsreels that are devoted to the signing of the Treaty and the Declaration on the Formation of the USSR, the First All-Union Congress of Soviets, the process of formation of all-Union legislation and new authorities, as well as the formation of new union republics in the 1920s-1930s.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Tomsk Region: Pages of History. It includes archival documents of the 19th-20th centuries - essays, statistical, cartographic and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the region.
